The MOST difficult year of MIPS….
The MIPS program has entered its 8th year. The minimum point threshold to avoid the penalty has been increased to 75 points. That’s a big increase from the 3 points minimum threshold set in 2017 when the program started.
With the removal of bonus points, changes to measure benchmarks and the addition of new measures, the need for a MIPS consultant as part of your team has never been greater.

There are no bonus points for reporting an extra outcome or high priority measure.
There are no bonus points for end-to-end electronic health reporting.
